We are happy to announce that as of September 01 2012, Mr. Ulrich Schmidt has joined our team as a Senior Partner.

Mr. Schmidt is a Master Butcher and Certified Meat Technician. He has more than 35 years of experience in the meat processing industry in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, amongst other positions, as a former partner in the consultancy firm “Fleischereiberatung Karl-Heinz Hack GmbH”.

His practical experience has been intensified during his CGE specialist auditor training at the GLOBALCERT Academy in Gosheim, Germany. In the field of controlling and quality assurance for the manufacturing, processing and marketing of foodstuffs he further augmented his expertise through continuing auditor trainings. Mr. Schmidt always made a point of advancing his own training, such as through regular participation in courses covering the International Food Standards (IFS) and attendance at the conferences held by the Gissel Institute of Bacteriology and Hygiene in Sehnde, Germany.

At S&P Consulting, Mr. Schmidt will be contributing many new consulting topics to our department for “Consulting and Qualification” which include: Cost-Analysis in manufacturing that also includes logistics as well as the optimization of manufacturing technology. Further core consulting competencies cover the development and implementation of installation and workflow organization in manufacturing as well as optimizing production capacities and the operational structure whilst taking the market requirements and quality management into consideration. With this expertise, Mr. Schmidt will be supporting SEDLÁK & PARTNE during future projects as he accompanies and advises customers on-site.

As a respected, experienced expert in the food and meat processing industries, we are extremely pleased that he has joined us. We are particularly impressed by his consulting philosophy and approach that is coined by concise current state analyses and practical implementation of the improvement potential.
